The Black Watch

A few months back we found out my grandfather was a sailor in high school. My mom had the amazing idea to pool together our birthday and father's day gifts for him to go on a sailing excursion on Grapevine Lake. We had the impression that this was going to be a little sailboat that putted us along the lake and we were pleased with the thought just the same. When we got to the lake we were surprised to find that this boat we planned to go on was actually an amazing yacht that we had rented for the night! Even a crew ready to prepare our snacks for us. It was so much more than we had anticipated and we were all blown away by how much fun we had. We are now planning for more birthday "experience" gifts rather than just things. Here are a few shots to remember the night.
